Kevin grew up on a farm southeast of Taber, where he learned the value of a hard days work and to always do your best. The call of the big city saw him spend his 20’s in Calgary where he was able to gain customer service, sales and marketing skills that have allowed him to flourish with Synthetic Grass Lethbridge over the years. Kevin moved back to the Taber area in 2003 where he joined the Town of Taber crew until the end of 2006 when his entrepreneurial spirit once again took hold. In 2008 he brought a product line of Turf to the Lethbridge area, that originated from the Denver area as a family start up business. After a few years of struggle and learning more about the industry and himself, Kevin found himself in a place that he had built the best Turf dealership in the area, but wanted to improve the quality of the supplier and the support in Canadian market. Luckily for Kevin, and more importantly you, he was able to strike a deal with SoftLawn® and attend STI University in Dalton, Georgia in April 2017 to see exactly how SoftLawn® is the best choice for you and your family. Being the pioneer in the industry for the area he feels very grateful for all he has learned through the years and the factory tours attended. He was fortunate enough to finally get a look at the old factory back in 2013, which gives him comfort with the first hand knowledge that he indeed is bringing an even better quality turf to your home or business. Scott Smockum has over 10 years of prior golf construction and design with many projects in Canada, the US and overseas. Scott has been able to utilize his past golf construction, design, shaping and earth moving experience and couple it with now 9 years of synthetic turf experience. Scott is the owner of STI Canada, which is a testament of his knowledge within the industry, ambition and ability to educate, set up and train new dealers of STI products all over Canada and even the US. With our manufacturing technology and expertise in artificial grass, we lead the way in constructing your dream space, indoors or outdoors! We have the tools and experience to incorporate synthetic turf as well as all of your landscape needs. We are building safer, more durable playgrounds, and engineering indoor sports facilities for year round activities. Anything you want to do with artificial turf, we can do!
